Equal pay

Women and men have the right to equal pay according to equal opportunity law. Nevertheless, work of equal value is not always paid equally. Women's gross monthly wages were 14.7% lower than men's in 2018 . Part of the wage difference can be explained by factors such as education, age, or work experience; part cannot be explained and is therefore discriminatory.

Equal pay between women and men strengthens society, promotes the reconciliation of family and work equally for fathers and mothers, and makes companies attractive as employers.
