Consultations

National consultations

If the Office for Communications intends to take special regulatory measures that are likely to have a significant impact on a certain market, it gives notice to interested parties and provides them with the opportunity to comment within a reasonable period of time. The Office for Communications may hold public consultations for this purpose.

The Office for Communications publishes all necessary information concerning current and completed national consultations as part of market analyses and does so exclusively in electronic form. Consultation documents can be found in the section market analyses and special regulation – current status under the specific market analyses.

EEA consultations

If the Office for Communications intends to adopt measures of special regulation that are likely to have an effect on trade between EEA States, it must consult the EFTA Surveillance Authority and the other national regulatory EEA authorities in advance.
