As explained in the support concept, supplementary education (EGU) is one of the special school measures. EGU as a special educational offer basically supports the individual support of all pupils in the municipal and secondary schools. The main focus is on children and young people with special educational needs in terms of learning disabilities and/or behavioral difficulties or gifted children. EGU takes place in the classroom, in a group and/or in an individual setting and, as a general objective, also includes consultation and cooperation with teachers and specialists, school management and parents.
