Prescriptions for medicines and medical devices

If a person from another EU/EEA country has been prescribed a medicine or medical device (plasters, bandages, etc.), it is also possible to have this prescription filled in Liechtenstein.

Non-recognition of prescriptions is only permitted if there are doubts about the authenticity (forgery), content or comprehensibility of such a prescription.

The prescription must meet the requirements of Implementing Directive 2012/52/EU
