Demonstrationobjects
The purpose of demonstration projects is to support the efficient use of energy and promote the use of renewable energies. They are installations for the use of renewable energies that serve to test the market and, above all, enable the economic assessment of a possible market launch.
Amount of funding
- Subsidies of up to CHF 200,000 can be granted for the construction of demonstration projects.
- In particular, the degree of environmental impact, the use of renewable energies, the degree of self-sufficiency, energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness and the exemplary effect are taken into account in the assessment.
Funding application
The funding application and the power of attorney must always be submitted in full and on paper, including all enclosures. Submissions by e-mail are not sufficient. The content of applications will only be processed once the application documents have been received in full.
Forfeiture of entitlement Entitlement to the payment of subsidies lapses if the measures are started before a legally binding confirmation of the subsidies has been received.
Project author The subsidies will only be paid if expert planning and implementation of the measures is guaranteed.
Time limit Pursuant to Art. 25 of the EEG, the guarantee of funding is limited in time. The measure must be started within one year of the decision to grant subsidies and completed within two years.
