Public consultation on allocation of mobile communications frequencies

The Office for Communications (AK) has initiated ex officio a procedure regarding the allocation of mobile communications frequencies and published it on its website in the section Announcements.

Referring to Art. 46 of the Communications Act and Art. 24 of the Ordinance on the Tasks and Competencies of the Regulator in Electronic Communication, the Office for Communications as the national regulatory body is conducting a public consultation and offers you the opportunity to comment on the draft allocation Decree.

We request that you submit your comments in writing with reference to the specific consultation (allocation of mobile communciations frequencies) to

The 25 November 2022 has been set as a deadline for statement submission.

Please note that statements submitted as part of the consultation will be published. If your statements contain company and/or business secrets, we request that you submit them in a separate document and, at the same time, submit a document that can be published on the website.

Statements

The Office for Communications has received one non-formal feedback within the deadline without any proposals for amendments or additions to the content.

It was suggested that item 10.1 (monthly operating status report) be adapted to the current state of the art, if necessary.

The Office for Communications has taken note of this suggestion and will monitor technical developments and make any necessary adjustments.
