Parkinson's self-help group
Parkinson's self-help group for sufferers and relatives
In Switzerland, an estimated 15,000 men and women suffer from Parkinson's disease. Living with this disease brings with it a multitude of difficulties. In order to improve the quality of life despite and with Parkinson's, maintaining contact with other sufferers can be helpful.
In a self-help group, you can learn how to deal with the disease appropriately by talking to other sufferers and relatives. The experience of community is a positive experience that counteracts the threat of isolation. It is good to know that you are not alone with your illness.
Are you also interested in exchanging ideas with those affected and their relatives in an atmosphere of appreciation and recognition? Then please get in touch with the contact point for self-help groups.
