Educational opportunities after compulsory schooling

Wide range of educational opportunities before and during vocational training

After the nine compulsory school years, students who are motivated to learn can benefit from numerous further education courses in Liechtenstein and neighboring countries.

The prerequisite for definitive admission to various secondary schools is passing the entrance examination. A completed apprenticeship contract is also required for the vocational baccalaureate schools.
Pupils can prepare for an entrance examination as part of the elective courses offered by their school. As the requirements for all secondary schools are very high, only students who have a real chance of passing the exam and are also prepared to prepare themselves as well as possible should take the entrance exams.

You can find the most important post-secondary courses after secondary school here: Brochure "Secondary schools after secondary school, information for parents"

The part-time vocational baccalaureate school in Liechtenstein can only be completed after completing an apprenticeship.
