Who are contracting entities "bodies governed by private law"?
Contracting entities "bodies governed by private law" are subject to the Public Procurement Act in cases of subsidization of more than 50% by the Principality of Liechtenstein, the municipalities or bodies governed by public law of construction, supply and service contracts specified by ordinance.
In cases of a subsidy of 30% by the Principality of Liechtenstein, the municipalities or institutions under public law, the law shall apply if the subsidy amounts to at least CHF 300,000.
Institutions under private Legal Division are in particular cooperatives, associations and other organizations.
This includes, for example, projects of the Foundation for Curative Education in Liechtenstein or the Liechtenstein Alpine Association, provided that these projects are subsidized accordingly.
