04/11/2020: Call termination in fixed networks

It its capacity as the competent regulatory body, the Office for Communications (AK) sets the upper limits for termination charges in the fixed network, which will apply from 1 January 2021, at a maximum of 0.9 Rp. per minute.

Regulation of the fixed termination markets was completed on 4 November 2020 when notification of the regulatory measures was made to the fixed network operators. The termination charges apply to calls originating from Liechtenstein or other EEA countries and are in the mid-range compared to other EEA nations.

The fixed network operators Telecom Liechtenstein AG, Backbone Solutions AG und Nexphone AG will also be obliged to publish a reference offer for voice call termination on their websites from 5 February 2021, which must be based on the template provided by the Office for Communications.
