For outstanding performances at Olympic Games, World and European Championships as well as Small States Games, bonuses can be paid to successful athletes and junior athletes.

Awards - Golden Laurel Leaf
The government honors individuals in recognition of outstanding achievements and special services to Liechtenstein sport by awarding them the "Golden Laurel Leaf". The recipient also receives a gold pin as an outward sign of the honor.
