Expert individual guidance FiB

The expert individual guidance (Fachkundige individuelle Begleitung - FiB) is an assistance for learners of the two-year vocational education with certificate (BA). FiB starts at the earliest with the contractually defined beginning of the apprenticeship and ends at the latest with the apprenticeship qualification. The aim is to promote existing talent potential, reduce learning deficits and strengthen social and self-competence.

Who can apply for "expert individual guidance FiB"
Application for FiB can be made by the parties of the apprenticeship contract, i.e. the apprentices, their legal representatives or the providers of education in professional practice (host companies). The application must be made in writing to the Office for Vocational Education and Career Counseling.
