Cost Monitor in the Field of Mandatory Health Insurance

In accordance with Article 8, paragraph 1 of the Ordinance of May 22, 2007 , on Cost Targets and Quality Assurance in Mandatory Health Care Insurance (KQV), the Association of Health Insurance Funds compiles and publishes a quarterly report on the cost developments in mandatory health care insurance (OKP). The Principality of Liechtenstein has joined the Swiss cost monitoring system at the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) to implement cost monitoring. When comparing figures with Switzerland or individual cantons, differences (in systems, tariffs, and benefits) must be considered. The Office of Public Health is available to provide information on questions regarding cost monitoring.
