Government Legal Services
The Government Legal Services is a permanent unit attached to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Finance. The tasks of the Legal Services, established by means of an ordinance, can be predominantly summarized as follows:
- Legal advice to the government
- Legislative review of legislation
- Publication of legislation and maintenance of the legislative database at www.gesetze.li
- Updating the Annexes to the Customs Treaty (Zollvertrag) and other treaties with Switzerland
- Safeguarding the interests of the country according to the Maintenance Advance Act (Unterhaltsvorschussgesetz)
- Training of legal interns

Location
Peter-Kaiser-Platz 2 is centrally located in Vaduz, within the government district of the Principality of Liechtenstein. By car, drive toward Vaduz Center. Follow the main road, known as Landstrasse, and turn onto Städtle Street. Peter-Kaiser-Platz is well signposted. Number 2 is located directly on the square, close to the government building. Parking is available in the government district's underground garage or nearby parking areas.
If using public transport, get off at the Vaduz Post bus stop. From there, walk south along the main road and turn left onto Städtle Street after a few minutes. Peter-Kaiser-Platz is on the right-hand side. Number 2 is directly on the square.
