27/02/2023: Decree revoking provisional frequency allocation to Trion Space AG

On 27 February 2023, the Office for Communications (AK) issued a Decree revoking ex officio and with immediate effect the provisional frequency allocation Decree of 8 January 2018, as amended on 4 March 2021, in favour of Trion Space AG. The revocation of the provisional frequency allocation also leads to a revocation of the authorisation of Trion Space AG to carry out at its own expense international coordination pursuant to Article 88 of the Ordinance on Means of Identification and Frequencies in Electronic Communications for all applications and coordination requests for frequency allocations submitted by the Office for Communications to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) under the designation 3ECOM-1 and 3ECOM-3 as delegated operator of the Office for Communications, as well as the provisional and conditional allocation of individual rights of use to the frequencies which are the subject of the applications/coordination requests to the ITU under the designation 3ECOM-1 and 3ECOM-3. The decision is based on Art. 98 let. b and e of the above-mentioned Ordinance in conjunction with Section 3 let. n to q of the Decree of 8 January 2018, as amended by the Decree of 4 March 2021.
