STEM Promotion

We live in the age of digitalization. Knowledge in the STEM subjects: mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology is becoming increasingly important. Also, more and more occupational fields require competencies in these areas.

Therefore, the "Förderstiftung MINT-Initiative Liechtenstein" was founded in 2016 by representatives of the government, business and industry. This has set itself the goal of promoting enthusiasm for STEM subjects in schools at all levels. The MINT enterprise planned by the Förderstiftung, named "pepperMINT", is intended to arouse interest in discovering, inventing and experiencing intelligent technology. Under the direction of a managing director, school classes in the pepperMINT operation will be given the opportunity to experience STEM subjects in an interdisciplinary way.
