On September 11, 2026, students, companies, and startups will gather for the first Innovation & Startup Forum Liechtenstein. The event is being organized in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland (OST), Switzerland Innovation Park Ost, Startfeld, and the University of Liechtenstein. The “Business Development and Innovation” division of the Office of Economic Affairs is serving as the host: The forum aims to provide the community with key networking opportunities and to grow alongside it in the coming years. The forum connects the regional innovation community, fosters exchange between industry, research, and emerging talent, and initiates new collaborations. It raises the profile of Liechtenstein as an innovation hub and strengthens the development of a regional network with a particular focus on the photonics and sensor technology clusters. 

For Startups
You’ll present your solution to industry representatives and investors in the Pitch Battle, meet potential early-stage clients from industry during Venture Clienting, and learn from Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) how to successfully scale up and expand internationally. The “Women in Venture” session features a discussion on financing options. Finally, the best ideas will be honored at the Startup & Innovation Awards.

For Companies
At “Industry on Stage,” you’ll showcase what your company stands for, and during Venture Clienting, you’ll get to know startups that offer concrete solutions.

For Students
You’ll have direct access to local companies, present your OST REAL projects to an expert audience at “Future Innovators,” and see firsthand how research ideas turn into businesses. The Female Tech Lunch provides a platform for female founders and women in the tech sector to serve as role models and offers a space for personal networking.
