Official Wage Statement Form
The increasing flexibility and customization of compensation plans have led to a sharp rise in non-wage benefits. The official wage statement is designed to be detailed, making it easier to report non-wage benefits.
Guidance and a quick reference guide are available to assist with filling out the wage statement.
Companies (with up to 80 employees) that do not have their own software for generating the wage statement can use the “eLohnausweis” application. This tool simplifies the process of filling out the wage statement form, and payroll records can be submitted electronically to the Fiscal Authority.
Due to the broad similarity between the Liechtenstein and Swiss wage statements, the Fiscal Authority continues to accept the Swiss wage statement.
Further information can be found on the online portal.

Due to the large number of Austrian cross-border workers and the different tax treatment of certain allowances in Austria (dirt, hardship, and hazard allowances, etc.), this supplementary form for the wage statement was developed in collaboration with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance. Employers are requested to complete this form for Austrian cross-border workers in addition to the wage statement.

This ensures that such allowances can be taxed correctly for taxpayers residing in Austria. The form is integrated into the eLohnausweis program and can be printed after the payroll data has been entered.
