Submission
The application requires a handwritten signature.
You can complete the application electronically and thus take advantage of the online form. After entering your application data, you must print out the application, sign it and submit it in paper form to the relevant office.Among the reasons why an application cannot be submitted electronically are:
Necessary documents and information
- the consent of the other spouse or the other registered partner if the pledged property is the matrimonial home or the joint home of a registered partnership
- If the lien is to be registered before the registered right of residence or usufruct, a priority grant is required
Note
Important: The signature(s) must be notarized. Certifications are issued by notaries, the Princely Court of Justice, the municipalities or the Office of Justice.
The use of eID.li and therefore electronic signing and submission is not possible for the following reasons:
- The application may not be signed electronically in accordance with the signature law or a special law
- The application requires multiple signatures.
- Art. 525 SR, supporting documents must be kept in the original and bound consecutively in document books.
