Of the remaining 48%, the majority of contracts were awarded to tenderers from Switzerland (44%). 133 contracts were awarded internationally due to costs exceeding the EEA/WTO thresholds. National tenders In the national tenders, more than 93% of the construction contracts were awarded to tenderers from Liechtenstein. The remaining 7% of construction contracts were awarded to bidders from Switzerland (5%), Belgium (0.9%) and the USA (0.7%). In the area of supply contracts, bidders from Liechtenstein were awarded more than 66% of the contracts. The remaining 34% of supply contracts were awarded to bidders from Switzerland (30%) and Austria (3%). The majority of service contracts also remained in Liechtenstein in 2025. More than 65% of orders were awarded to Liechtenstein tenderers. The remaining 35% of service contracts were awarded to tenderers from Switzerland (29%), Austria (3%), the USA (2%) and the Netherlands (0.6%). International Procurement In the area of international tenders (above the EEA/WTO thresholds), a total of 133 contract awards were recorded by the Specialised Unit for Public Procurement in 2025. This category includes construction projects with a construction contract value of more than CHF 5,573,777 as well as supply and service contracts with individual contract values exceeding the total value of CHF 143,923. More than 89% of the 25 construction contracts were awarded to Liechtenstein tenderers and 11% to Swiss tenderers. Of the eight supply contracts, 99% were awarded to Swiss tenderers and 1% to Liechtenstein tenderers. In the case of service contracts in the International Affairs sector, 100 contracts were awarded to tenderers from Switzerland (63%), Liechtenstein (32%), Denmark (3%), Germany (1%), Austria (0.9%), Ireland (0.5%), Iceland (0.3) and the USA (0.1%).
