National thresholds

The national thresholds for contracting authorities "bodies governed by public law" in the field of direct awards and of negotiated procedures are described in the Articles 25, paragraph 3 and 26 of the Ordinance on Public Procurement ÖAWV. Above these contract values for direct awards or for negotiated procedures, the open or restricted procedure (Article 22, paragraph 5 ÖAWG) is to be applied.

Exceptional provisions for the permissible use of the negotiation-procedure are contained in Article 25 of the Ordinance on Public Procurement.
