Questions and answers

I am planning an energy-efficient measure. Do I get there from the country a promotion?

The following measures are promoted via the Energy Efficiency Act

For each measure there is a funding application. You can find this on our website under the respective funding category. Please complete the funding application in full and send it to the Energy Agency, including the enclosures requested therein.

Important: Always wait until a decision has been made on your funding application. Only when the confirmation has been issued by the energy office, you may start with the planned measure.

Provided all documents have been submitted in full, it takes two to three weeks to process the funding application.

The funding application and the power of attorney must generally be submitted in full and in paper form, including all attachments. Submissions via email are not sufficient. The content of applications will only be processed once the application documents have been received in full.

The same applies to the construction completion certificate.

Please submit the Construction Completion Certificate along with all enclosures listed therein to the Energy Office after completion of the measure. If anything is missing or unclear, we will get back to you.

For any community subsidy, you can contact the relevant site municipality after construction has been completed using the disbursement letter from the energy agency.

The exact conditions and prerequisite are sometimes handled differently by the municipalities. For example, Triesen has a special regulation, according to which after receiving the assurance of the energy office must also be applied for again at the municipality  the subsidy.

Please inquire in your specific case directly with your municipality. Subject to any changes that the municipalities make, the funding rates / municipal ceilings / etc. can usually be found on their website.
