Remedies and procedures for civil enforcement for disputes arising out of the employment relationship

Content

Employees who have been posted can assert their claims arising from the employment relationship that relate to the period of posting against their employer in Liechtenstein and file a corresponding lawsuit. The claim for payment of the minimum wage can also be asserted directly against the employer's principal, provided the latter is an entrepreneur. This liability extends to every principal in an order chain.

Free legal advice, litigation participation and representation

In simple cases, court interns provide legal advice free of charge and draft motions, complaints, and other submissions, including appeals and legal remedies, if any, to the extent that this is responsible based on the circumstances of the individual case. Legal information is provided orally and in German (further information on free legal advice).

Associations with their registered office in the country which, according to their statutes, have as their purpose the representation of the interests of employees or employers may, with the consent of the person complained against, represent that person in proceedings initiated by him or participate in the litigation as a third party.
