"Andere Anlagen und Andere Massnahmen" Other systems and other measures
What are "Other Systems (Andere Anlagen)"?
"Other systems" are large-scale systems, such as large wood chip combustion systems, that specifically serve the purpose of the Energy Efficiency Act. These include, for example, building services systems with an area of 1,750 m² or more or photovoltaic systems with a capacity of 250 kWp or more.

What are "Other measures (Andere Massnahmen)"?
Förderantrag "Andere Massnahmen" (PDF), 01.02.2025
"Other measures" serve in a special way the purpose of this law (EEG) and/or an energy strategy adopted by the government (e.g. Energy Strategy 2020), in particular energy consulting, increasing electricity efficiency in large buildings or efficiency programs.
Individual measures
Individual measures include, for example, the replacement of lighting (LED) or circulation pumps, industrial motors, process steam systems, but also the commercial use of waste heat.

Fast Charging Station/Electric Mobility
To support electric mobility, the Energy Commission decided at its meeting on June 28, 2016, that one fast charging station per municipality should be subsidized.
• These municipalities have already been allocated funding: Ruggell, Schaan, Bendern, and Balzers.
• Funding is 20% of the investment contribution or a maximum of CHF 10,000. The first-come, first-served principle applies.
• Conditions: The charging station must be publicly accessible and powered by green electricity.
Grid Expansion Initiative Program
On August 31, 2021, the Energy Commission passed a resolution to expand the Grid Expansion Initiative Program outside of the building zone beyond the set framework of 1 MWp in connection with photovoltaic systems. The Energy Commission is supporting grid expansion outside of the building zone as part of an incentive program until further notice without direct capacity restrictions:
• The receipt of applications is decisive for the assessment.
• The goal of the incentive program is the continued construction of large-scale PV systems to achieve the goals of the 2030 Energy Strategy.
• Subsidies for grid expansion can be applied for under "other systems and other measures." The maximum contribution is capped at CHF 400/kWp of additional PV capacity, as the aim is to achieve the best possible cost-benefit ratio. An existing system is not taken into account in the capacity calculation.
• The subsidy is based on the proven eligible costs incurred due to the construction of an additional PV system for the grid expansion.
• The PV systems themselves can be subsidized separately according to the applicable subsidy rates.

31.08.2021
The Energy Commission made the decision on 31.08.2021, to extend the impulse program line expansion outside the construction zone beyond the set framework of 1 MWp in connection with photovoltaic systems.
The Energy Commission promotes the line extension outside the building zone within the framework of an impulse program until further notice without direct power limitation
- The decisive factor for the assessment is the receipt of the application
- The goal of the impulse program is the further construction of large PV systems to achieve the goals of the Energy Strategy 2030.
- Support contributions for line expansion can be applied for under "other facilities and other measures". The maximum contribution is capped at 400CHF/kWp of additional PV power, as the best possible cost / benefit ratio is sought.
