Disability Equality

On 1.1.2007, the law and regulation on equality of persons with disabilities came into force.

According to the Disability Equality Act, all public transport routes and facilities, as well as public transport systems, must be designed to be accessible to people with disabilities. 

Work flow for civil engineering and road construction projects

All civil engineering and road construction projects of the natkional administration and the municipalities must be submitted to the Liechtenstein Association for Persons with Disabilities for a statement as part of the project development or before the development of the implementation project. At least a site plan, longitudinal, transverse and normal profiles are to be submitted.

In the Principality of Liechtenstein, the Liechtenstein Association for the Disabled is the disability organization entitled to file applications and complaints.
