Designation of the procedures

According to Swiss regulations, the primary award procedures applied are designated as follows:

Cantonal thresholds

The thresholds of the individual cantons in the range of national thresholds, for the different award procedures, are listed on the homepages of the respective cantons. If you have any questions, please contact the public procurement office.

International thresholds

Switzerland is a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and has signed the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA). As a result, tenders in Switzerland must be published internationally starting at the WTO thresholds.

The publication of tenders in the range of national thresholds can be found in the official gazettes of the individual cantons. In addition, some cantons publish them on the SIMAP (Système d'Information sur les marchés publics en Suisse) Homepage.
