School ICT

Information and communication technologies (ICT) are an integral part of our everyday lives:
E-mails, SMS or community platforms have led to constant accessibility and have had a lasting impact on our communication behavior. Computers and the Internet accelerate work processes in both the professional and private spheres.

The Liechtenstein curriculum (LiLe) ensures that children and young people acquire sufficient IT and media skills at school to be able to move successfully in an increasingly digitalized world. In doing so, the school ICT project lays the foundations for the acquisition of competencies by providing all schools with modern IT resources (WLAN, mobile devices, software, etc.).

This general overhaul of school IT opens up entirely new possibilities for schools in terms of methodological-didactic approaches to teaching, as well as individualized and independent learning. The new information and communication technologies are to be regarded as aids that will usefully supplement proven forms of teaching in the future.

Further information on the school ICT project is available at www.lile.li

Microsoft products are successfully used at all schools in Liechtenstein in lessons to implement the Liechtenstein curriculum (LiLe). Microsoft has determined to further increase security in the IT area in order to protect users' accounts even better from unauthorized access. For this reason, a so-called multi-factor authentication (MFA) will now be introduced by Microsoft. This means that students and all teaching staff will have to log in to Microsoft 365 services using a second method (Microsoft Authenticator app or token) in addition to their password when using the school network.
