The independent practice of any of the following health professions requires a permit from the Office of Public Health, subject to Articles 31 through 35.

Independent practice exists when the health profession is practiced:

  • in own professional responsibility within the framework of an employment relationship.

Practical activities in connection with further training requirements for professional qualification must also be reported in writing to the Office of Public Health, but are not subject to approval.

After final review of the application by the Office of Public Health, the applicant will be notified in written form.

  • The warranted professional license is limited to a maximum of six months; in justified cases, it may be extended upon request.
  • The health profession may only be practiced after the permit has been issued.
