Registration for the examination

The examination on the technical suitability of the dangerous goods officer (safety adviser) forms the technical prerequisite for the independent exercise of the activity as a dangerous goods safety adviser. This examination is carried out 2 times a year, in spring and autumn, if there is a sufficient number of interested persons. The Office of Economic Affairs and the Examination Commission decide whether the examination on the professional qualification of the dangerous goods safety adviser is to be held. The fees for taking the exam are:

  • a) the module road: 500 francs;
  • b) the module road and rail: 550 francs;
  • c) the module road and inland waters: 550 francs;
  • d) the module road, rail and inland waters: 600 francs;
  • e) the repetition of a failed examination part of a module: 200 francs. 

"Bildung auf Kurs" and Kurse.li  each organize a preparatory course for the examination on the professional qualification of the dangerous goods officer. For registration or questions about this, please consult the corresponding websites Kurse.li and "Bildung auf Kurs". Attendance at this course is not mandatory.
