Allocation / Reservation / Auction
Control plates are assigned at the counter when registering the vehicle. A reservation is only possible for plates without a conspicuous combination of digits from the continuous series. An amount of CHF 500.00 is payable for a reservation.
Signs with low numbers (4-digit motor vehicle signs, 2-digit motorcycle signs) and signs with conspicuous number combinations are only available via the respective sign auctions. Auctions are held every 1 to 2 years and will be publicized in due course in the state newspapers and on this page.
