Roaming in the EEA

From June 15, 2017, only the domestic price may be charged for roaming within the EEA (EU + Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland) ("Roam like at Home").

Roaming providers, however, have the option to apply a fair use policy to prevent abusive roaming use. This includes the use of roaming services for purposes other than periodic travel. A small charge may be levied for roaming that exceeds reasonable use ("fair use"). This charge may in no case exceed the cap on the wholesale charge paid by the operator for the use of networks in other EEA States.
