  • Central point of contact and advice for public clients and contractors, e.g. the  Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Liechtenstein Association of Engineers and Architects;
  • Development of strategies, concepts, measures and instruments for optimal implementation and  further development of the subject area of public procurement, taking into account the  quality management;
  • Innovative further development of the legal matter and the procedures of public procurement;
  • Information and training of contracting authorities and contractors;
  • Development of the necessary templates and forms in the online switch;
  • Support and further development of the homepage;
  • Supervision and control over the entire public procurement and ensure legally compliant execution of public procurement;
  • Reporting to the government in case of detected violations. Drafting RA's, opinions and  handling complaints;
  • Development of the necessary tools and maintenance of statistics of public procurement above and below the EEA/WTO thresholds;
  • Transmitting the required information and data to the Office for Official Publications of the EU in Luxembourg;
  • Collaboration in the further development of the joint declaration Switzerland - Principality of Liechtenstein;
  • Collaboration with the professional bodies of public procurement in the region;
  • Collaboration in public relations;
  • Further development of the law on public procurement. Preparation of proposals for the  transposition of directives and regulations of the EU into national law. Elaboration of  consultation proposals, coordination of comments and cooperation in the preparation of reports and  motions to Parliament;
  • Development of forms for the EEA Commission of the Landtag in the adoption of new directives  and regulations of the EU;
  • Develop opinions on government consultation proposals;
  • Review treaties with third countries within the framework of agreements of EFTA with third countries;
  • Collaboration in the "Forum Public Procurement" of the Swiss Conference of Directors of Construction, Planning and  Environmental Protection BPUK;
  • Cooperation in the relevant EFTA Commission and in the Advisory Committee concerning EU public  procurement;
  • Coordinate problem analysis with EFTA's surveillance authority, the ESA. Participate in package meetings with ESA;
  • Reporting to the WTO as part of the WTO Trade Policy Reviews.
