Cell phone loss
If your cell phone, laptop or tablet is stolen or you lose it, someone else may be making unauthorized calls or using other paid cell phone services at your expense.
For this reason, have your cell phone blocked immediately after theft or loss and notify your network operator immediately. This may require your customer password, which you must have available. Immediately after the theft is discovered, you should also report it to the police. It is important to know the 15-digit IMEI number of your phone. This serial number (located under the battery and on the original packaging or retrievable with *#06#) cannot be erased or removed, making it possible to uniquely identify a cell phone. Check if your household insurance covers the theft or loss of your cell phone.
