International thresholds
The international thresholds are set out in the Announcement of the Thresholds for the Award of Public Contracts and in the Announcement of the Thresholds for the Award of Public Contracts in the Sectors.
Above these thresholds, public contracts are to be awarded by open or restricted procedure depending on their appropriateness. Exceptions to the permissible use of the negotiated procedure are governed by Article 24 of the Public Procurement Regulation.
The international thresholds are different in principle, depending on the type of contracting authority, see announcements of Threshold values.
