Acquisition of relatives
General
A legitimate interest is not required if a property is acquired by a spouse, a registered partner, a blood relative in the ascending or descending line or up to the third degree of the collateral line, or an elective or foster child.
A legitimate interest, on the other hand, is required in the case of acquisition between all relatives from the fourth degree of the collateral line (great uncle, great aunt, cousin and cousin).
