Innovation partnership
In an innovation partnership, companies can apply to participate after an announcement by providing the information for a qualitative selection required by the contracting authority. Only those companies that are invited by the contracting authority after evaluating the information provided may participate in the procedure. The award may be made exclusively on the basis of the criterion of best value for money (Article 25b, paragraph 1 ÖAWG or. Article 36c, Paragraph 1 ÖAWSG).
The objective of the innovation partnership is the development of an innovative construction work, product or service and the subsequent acquisition of the resulting construction work, product or service, provided that the performance level and cost ceiling agreed between the contracting authority and the participants are complied with. The further provisions are regulated in Art. 25d ÖAWV or Art. 30c ÖAWSV.
