Psychiatric-psychological help
The service acts as a hub and first point of contact for people with various, mainly complex psychosocial problems. It organizes and coordinates assistance after inpatient stays in foreign psychiatric hospitals as well as after internal (Sozialer Dienst SD, Kinder- und Jugenddienst KJD, Finanzen und Zentraler Dienst FZD) referrals and reports from various social institutions and associations (e.g. assisted living association, probation service), authorities (e.g. police, public prosecutor's office, women's shelter, regional court, public prosecutor's office) or the established medical profession and therapists. Affected persons can also contact the service themselves for support or referral.
For people with a wide variety of problems or crises difficult to manage on the fringes of society, individual assistance is to be guaranteed. Together with the social psychiatric service providers in the country, the goal of reintegration into society with an independent lifestyle (possible depending on individual conditions) is being pursued.
