Delivery of official documents

Documents issued by an authority (Amtsstelle) can be delivered to you as a customer in electronic form (more information at Electronic Documents). The delivery will be made through a secured way. You will be notified by email that the document has been delivered and you can pick it up online via a protected access in the Official documents mailbox 

Electronic delivery of official documents is currently available for the following business cases:

Prerequisites for the use of this service

  • Identification: 
    The service requires registration with eID.li or "lilog".

lilog will remain available until an adequate solution is available for companies (e.g. eRepresentation combined with an alternative issuing procedure for the eID.li, e.g. via video identification). This is expected to be the case in early 2022.

  • Sending documents to an authority: 
    Documents which you submit as a customer to an authority (official body) can in most cases be submitted using the respective online form (see Onlineschalter) in electronic form together with the application.

Instructions Ordering and delivery of official documents

Representative of all services in the field of electronic delivery of official documents, we show you in this guide the example of the criminal record extract.

You can find this service in our Onlineschalter.

After successful registration your application is automatically pre-filled with your data as much as possible. This data is unchangeable, so that no order is possible for other persons and the highest possible security is ensured:

The e-mail address that is mandatory for electronic delivery will also be pre-filled if you have stored it in your central communication data.

You can now enter the remaining details in the application. Please pay particular attention to the fields marked with an asterisk, as these are so-called mandatory fields that you must fill out.

You will receive the entire application including all payment information additionally as an e-mail.

After clicking on "Next" the control page appears, on which all the information you have entered is summarized once again for verification. You can either correct your information by clicking on "Back" or definitely send your application by clicking on "Send" 

After sending, the so-called closing page appears automatically. This page confirms that the application has been sent and, for this purpose, is provided with an electronic signature of the state administration and a time stamp. If you wish, this page can also be saved locally. We do not use this option in this example and therefore exit the application by clicking "Exit":

Your application now arrives at the competent and authorized staff of the district court. They will prepare the criminal record extract upon receipt of your payment and deliver it electronically.

You will then receive an e-mail at the e-mail address you provided in the application, which, for data protection reasons, simply informs you that the document you ordered is now provided.

The effective collection of the document takes place by clicking on the.corresponding link in the e-mail.

For security reasons, a new login is required in this business case. This ensures that the document can only be picked up by you personally.

After the successful registration the mask shown below appears. The criminal record extract you ordered can be found in the "My shipments" section. By clicking on the appropriate line, the document can be downloaded and opened.

Please note that your criminal record extract is legally signed electronically by the Liechtenstein District Court. The electronic criminal record extract is therefore considered an original, which you can use several times if necessary.
