Tissues and cells
Strict regulation and control ensure that EEA standards are met when handling human tissues and cells. Anyone wishing to handle human tissues and cells in Liechtenstein (e.g. removal of blood stem cells, IVF) requires a permit from the Office of Public Health. The Swissmedic Inspectorate checks the requirements for a permit on behalf of the Office of Public Health
