All EU legal acts to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement are examined by the technical experts of the Liechtenstein National Administration and, in addition, by the EEA Coordination Unit for their practical and legal implications. In particular, it is checked whether specific adaptations need to be made to the EU legal acts or whether the adoption of an EU legal act requires the approval of Parliament.

All preparatory work for the EEA/Schengen Commission of the Landtag is coordinated by the EEA Coordination Unit and the relevant documents are provided.
