Life-saving immediate measures (emergency helper card)

The first application for the issuance of a learner's permit of categories A or B or the subcategories A1, AM or B1, the applicant must attach a certificate of attendance of a course on life-saving emergency measures (emergency helper card). For categories M, G and F, no emergency helper certificate is required

 

Validity

The course is valid for 6 years. Expired courses will not be accepted.

  • Samaritan associations in Liechtenstein and Switzerland

Course Exemption

  • Persons who already hold a category A, A1, B or B1 driver's license;
  • Physicians, dentists and veterinarians;
  • Nursing staff with diploma or certificate of proficiency;
  • Instructors of emergency courses;
  • other persons who provide proof of training in life-saving emergency measures by a recognized body
  • Persons who exchange a foreign driver's license
