Child and youth welfare

Child and youth welfare aims to support family systems in meeting the needs of children and adolescents and intervenes where official measures are necessary for the protection/well-being of children and adolescents.

This includes counseling parents, adolescents, and caregivers in cases of parenting, developmental, and detachment problems, as well as when parents separate. In addition, the Child and Youth Service also carries out official measures in accordance with the Youth Act (educational assistance, foster care, welfare education), carries out guardianships over minors, accompanies foster care relationships in a professional manner, prepares social reports for foreign adoptions, mediates in domestic options, prepares opinions for the court in visitation and custody arrangements and provides financial support in accordance with the Youth Act.
