Statistical program 2024 and 2025

The Office of Statistics has published the statistical program for the years 2024 and 2025.

Ongoing activities include the 88 different statistical publications, surveys, data deliveries to Eurostat and to international organizations as well as the maintenance of the business register and the buildings and housing register.

Of the larger and smaller statistical projects in the program, the establishment of an open government data portal, crime statistics and the development of a new strategy are among the most important projects. Preparations are also beginning for the 2025 census.

The statistical program is discussed annually by the Statistics Commission and approved by the government.

A new feature on the statistics portal is the "Number Day" section, where news from the Office or interesting statistical figures and exciting facts and figures outside the standard publications are published at irregular intervals - but at least once a month.
