Every day, children and adults around the world fall ill with life-threatening blood diseases such as leukemia and are dependent on a blood stem cell transplant. As there are many possible combinations between the tissue characteristics of donor and recipient, a large donation register is needed to find the perfect match. Only less than 0.5 % of all registered people can actually donate and one in ten of those affected cannot find a suitable donor. The more people who are registered, the better the chances - for all of us.
That is why we are running a registration campaign in cooperation with the Swiss Red Cross and cordially invite you to take part:
- When? Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Where? House of Families, Landstrasse 40, Schaan
- Who? People between the ages of 18 and 40 without serious pre-existing conditions can register
