In the official Handover today, Dominique Hasler took over the Presidency from Latvian. Liechtenstein holds the Presidency of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers for the next six months. The Liechtenstein Presidency will not only be visible in the Council of Europe but also in the city of Strasbourg. For one year, the Liechtenstein tram will be operated throughout the tram network of Strasbourg The official handover day of the Presidency of the Council of Europe​​​​​​​ was concluded by the traditional flag raising ceremony organised by the city of Strasbourg. The Liechtenstein flag will fly in front of the Strasbourg town hall for the next six months. ​
