Unemployment rate at 1.4%

In 2023, the average unemployment rate of 1.4% was slightly higher than the previous year's figure of 1.3%. Compared to the previous year, the average unemployment rate rose by 0.1 percentage points. In 2022, the lowest value since the adjustment of the calculation method in 2006 was recorded. 284 people were registered as unemployed on average in 2023. In the previous year, the number of unemployed people had reached a low of 267. This represents an increase of 17 people or 6.2%. In 2023, an average of 397 people were registered as jobseekers with the Labor Market Service. In the previous year, there were only 365 people.
