Job openings at the Office of Education in Liechtenstein are always posted on the career platform, in the eAmtsblatt, and on LinkedIn . Unfortunately, unsolicited applications cannot be considered. 

The qualifications required by law for teachers are specified in the Teacher Service Ordinance ( LdV). Employment requires training that meets either the requirements established by the Conference of Cantonal Directors of Education (EDK) or the training requirements prescribed in Austria.

Based on the application materials, the Office of Education’s supervisory authority, in collaboration with the school administration, will evaluate whether all requirements for the advertised position have been met. If applicable, an invitation to an interview or a trial lesson will follow.

The candidate will be notified of the job offer in writing or by phone.

General recognition of one’s education is no guarantee that a person will be hired by the Office of Education. In addition to the general requirements, there are different hiring requirements depending on the grade level and type of school (e.g., Gymnasium, Oberschule, or Realschule).
