On Friday, August 28, 2026, retired teachers from public schools and the music school were invited to the traditional retirees’ outing. After enjoying a hearty breakfast—which was also attended by Minister of Education Daniel Oehry—this year’s outing took them to the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen.
In the afternoon, the program included a river cruise along the “Amazon of the Rhine,” featuring the thundering Rhine Falls.

The former teachers enjoyed their day together in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
