An international team of experts conducted an audit of the Office of Statistics over several days in August. The audit was carried out as part of the peer review, an important quality assurance procedure. In the report now available, the team of experts found the Office of Statistics to be highly compliant with the 16 principles of the European Statistics Code of Practice. The team of experts also made 17 recommendations for the further development of public statistics in Liechtenstein.
