On Friday, January 18, 2019, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, invited the ministers present at the International Green Week IGW, to a dialogue on the new developments in the context of digitalization. The following day, on Saturday, January 19, Government Councillor Dominique Hasler, at the invitation of the German Minister of Agriculture, Julia Klöckner, attended the 11th Berlin Summit of Ministers of Agriculture, held in the framework of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) and International Green Week (IGW).
